Can a Rabbi Trust buy and rent real estate?

Yes, a Rabbi Trust can own and rent real estate, if it is an allowable investment under the trust's investment policy. Some Rabbi Trusts even own water rights, land and timber. Remember, the revenues from renting the property will still be considered income.
